Who am I?

Hi, I am Abi and I am a machine learning engineer and also the curator, and sometimes the co-host, of the #1 MLOps Podcast in the industry.

A typical week in my life is something along the intersection of building ML-based products, navigating venture capital, and studying the creator economy. That, and my community/mentoring and volunteer commitments sprinkled in during my free time but especially on weekends.

Overall, busy, sometimes very tiring but terribly fun 💃

Why subscribe?

I often ask people - where do you see yourself 10 years from now and what would you ideally be working on?

Some people say they want to quit their current job and ideally work fewer hours so they can spend more time with their family & kids. Some people say they consider themselves lucky and almost grateful to have plunged into this (ML/AI) field by chance.

I am among the latter creatures.

ML is such a fast-moving field with so much room for interdisciplinary work, I often find myself wanting to learn and master as much as humanly possible.

Thus, outside of my work, I often spend a lot learning, understanding new concepts, making notes, and sharing them with friends. The newsletter “Data Driven Babe by Abi” is my medium to share them with the rest of the world.
